Krystal has such a bright and amazing future on the horizon
Krystal has been a catalyst for moving the girls program forward. She has been the ace pitcher for Lady Thunder and junior coach to the Lady Bolts. Also, she and her mother Kim Kelly have been super supportive by being actively involved in recruitment, assisting in managing the team, and overall keeping the morale up.
Krystal is an active, very fit 14 year old with an upbeat attitude and tons of positive energy. Most of the coaches consider Krystal to be beyond her years because of the wit and satirical commentary she displays on a daily basis. Krystal keeps everyone laughing and is quite the optimist; she finds the silver lining in everything, and has been a stalwart role model to the younger girls. Her leadership abilities have blossomed even more since being in the program and her natural knack for leading is undeniable, as the impact she has on the other girls is immutable. Whether it’s about being a better player, doing better in school, improving on personal traits, or relationship advice, Krystal always has the right thing to say to the girls at the right time. She is also amazingly popular with the boys in the program by garnering their upmost respect as an equal because she can play ball on their level and doesn’t back down from her principles.
This young woman has such a bright and amazing future on the horizon, and we are just so proud to be a part of her life and to have her as a part of our organization. As the Valedictorian of her class at Horace Mann Academy this year, Krystal has chosen to attend Kenwood Academy this fall. When she gets older, she aspires to be a member of at least one professional sports team and also earn a PhD.
